Spa Coordinator Job Requirements:

This is a hands on leadership administrative role.
Must perform coordination of who is in every treatment room at all times. This includes every client & every practitioner. You are the leader and conductor of in house movement of clients between treatments.
Must be a person that is comfortable in a position of authority in that this is a leadership role.
Must be detail oriented regarding all standards at the spa.
Must comfortably use computers, internet browsers, business software, smartphones, and tablets. Must have basic understanding.
Must provide warm, gracious, joyful, hospitality to each guest, team member & vendor.
Required to sell spa services including in spa retail products, rebookings, memberships, service enhancements & treatments (training provided)
Prepare, clean, sanitize, and reset treatment rooms and client facing spaces before and after every service (training provided)
Must be committed to fulfill agreed upon work days with limited or no changes to the schedule (you must come to work as agreed)
Responsible for opening & closing the spa. Must arrive 30 min prior to first session.
You can't be late. If tardiness is your character, this position is not for you
If hired you agree to all policy's, mandates, and training details provided in our employment contract.

Spa Coordinator Compensation & Hours:

1099 Pay Structure
AMAZING tips
$18 - $20 an hour base pay
Sales commision with monthly goals
Weekly pay
Tips daily
Full time and part time openings

What does a typical day look like for a Spa Coordinator?

Every day is an amazing adventure! Each day our Spa Coordinator leads our team through appointments and sets the tone for the client experience for each guest at the spa. The role requires warmth, maturity, and the confidence to keep a busy luxury spa running smoothly. Training & Certification will be provided.

No two appointment days are exactly alike. Your appointments and service mix will depend on client bookings and your qualifications.

During the course of the day, you’ll review the scheduled appointments and confirm ready-to-use treatment rooms. Keep in mind that our appointments are booked online and are fluid. The day may have openings in the morning that are booked throughout the work day. Expect the unexpected. Expect to be busy.

You’ll consult with the client, and prepare them for the upcoming appointment while in the lobby. As the Spa Coordinator, you will be onsite to provide support to our service practitioners each day. The consistent thread is how clients feel in your care: heard, comfortable, and confident because they chose Black Bella Spa.

Training at Black Bella Spa:

Training & certification at Black Bella Spa is not FREE.
New hires are provided with collateralized training (at zero cost) provided they remain in good standing & pass the 90 day probationary period.
Training from Black Bella Spa is $1,600 per modality (on site training class). Hired staff are offered training of each modality at a reduced rate of $699.
Tenured staff in good standing do not pay for training or certifications.
If you are separated from payroll before the probationary period is complete you will be billed $699.00 for the training.
